About the Role

Responsible for supporting specific functional/business areas regarding their information system needs.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Capture and document business goals, system objectives, and use cases.
  • Prepare requirement gathering templates and checklists.
  • Conduct workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Analyze requirements and structure them into business capabilities.
  • Prepare project documentation such as user requirements, functional specs, test plans, and manuals.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and developers on high-level solutions.
  • Identify assumptions, constraints, dependencies, issues, and risks.
  • Facilitate communication between business and development teams.
  • Perform system integration testing and provide training to users.
  • Support user acceptance testing with developers.
  • Manage requirement changes with the Project Manager.
  • Follow SDLC processes as guided by the Project Manager.
  • Own assigned tasks and ensure successful system implementation.
  • Develop domain expertise and become a subject matter expert.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT-related disciplines.
  • 4-5 years of progressive IT experience.
  • At least 3 years as a business analyst.
  • Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate business information.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Familiarity with requirements development and change management methodologies.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Experience with DevOps CI/CD tools is a plus.
  • Experience with insurance industry is a plus.
  • Passing Azure Fundamentals AZ-900 exam is advantageous.
