Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks a skilled backend and platform engineer to design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure and ML-serving services. You will collaborate with data science and product teams to deploy production-grade AI solutions and ensure reliability through monitoring and incident response.

The role emphasizes leadership in architecture reviews, engineering standards, and cross-team collaboration while leveraging AWS/GCP/Azure and IaC practices to scale workloads.

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills (or similar languages) for backend and infrastructure automation.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform), CI/CD, and containerized workloads.
• Expertise with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including compute, networking, storage, and managed services.
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated technical leadership.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field or equivalent practical experience.
• Nice to have: distributed systems, ML model serving frameworks, observability, security practices, or cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure and backend services that reliably serve ML inference workloads at scale.
• Design, implement, and operate the platform components and automation needed to manage production ML workloads.
• Collaborate with data science and product teams to deliver production-grade AI services.
• Enhance observability, performance, and reliability through monitoring, alerting, incident response and continuous improvement.
• Lead architecture reviews, establish engineering standards, mentor engineers, and drive reusable platform patterns across teams.
