Job summary
Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Application Developer to lead a small team and guide product development in an AI-driven startup based in Subang Jaya.
You will refine the roadmap, deliver full application cycles, and stay current with IT trends. Equity options are available as part of the compensation. The role requires business-minded leadership and strong English communication in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in an IT related field.
- At least 2 years of software development experience with at least one full project cycle and live app.
- Experience deploying Android, iOS, and web apps.
- Familiar with AI tools like Claude, Gemini, Deepseek, etc.
- Experience with WhatsApp API, OpenRouter, AWS, and calendar integrations.
- Proficient with design tools such as Figma.
- Willing to lead a small team and communicate in English.
- Open to salary plus shares or profit sharing in the company.
- Prepared to work in a startup environment in Subang Jaya.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and direction to the development team.
- Guide and mentor a small team of junior developers.
- Refine the product roadmap.
- Act as the Lead Developer.
- Stay updated with IT trends and development in the market.
- Explore new IT and AI tools.
- Handle new projects after completing existing ones.
