Job summary

Digi Supplies in Malacca City is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service laundry equipment. You will inspect, repair, and maintain washing machines, dryers, and related systems to ensure smooth daily operations and high service quality.

Requirements include a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 1–2 years of hands-on maintenance experience on mechanical or electrical equipment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of maintenance experience on mechanical or electrical equipment.
• Experience repairing self-service laundry machines is an advantage.
• Knowledge of operating electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Valid driving license; GDL preferred.
• Immediate start when possible.
• English, Bahasa Melayu, and Chinese language proficiency to liaise with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Laundry Equipment Maintenance: maintain, inspect, and ensure laundry equipment functions properly.
• Repair and Routine Maintenance: inspect and repair breakdowns to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Preventive Maintenance: plan and implement preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Resource and Spare Parts Management: manage materials and spare parts usage per guidelines.
• Safety Inspection: ensure machines meet safety standards and implement safety measures.
• Technical Troubleshooting: identify issues and resolve promptly.
• Laundry Service Monitoring: ensure quality and cleanliness standards and address customer complaints.
• Work Schedule Coordinator: organize maintenance schedules to meet deadlines without affecting operations.
