Job summary

Gadek Nursery in Malaysia is seeking a Landscape Manager to oversee daily landscape operations and project execution. You will supervise gardeners, site Supervisors and subcontractors, plan planting, irrigation and maintenance while ensuring high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.

The role requires 3–5 years of landscaping experience, strong leadership and excellent communication, with the ability to coordinate across multiple sites and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Agriculture, Landscape Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in landscaping, horticulture, landscape maintenance, or related industries.
• Experience managing landscape teams, site operations or landscaping projects is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance, planting, pruning, fertilising, irrigation and plant care.
• Good leadership, organisational and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily landscape operations, maintenance activities and project execution.
• Supervise landscape workers, gardeners, site supervisors and subcontractors.
• Plan and coordinate planting, pruning, irrigation, grass cutting and general maintenance.
• Monitor site conditions and ensure standards are met for quality and safety.
• Prepare work schedules and allocate resources for daily operations.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Track project progress, costs and ensure timely completion.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, machinery and equipment.
• Handle customer feedback and site-related issues professionally.
• Train and develop landscape team members to improve productivity.
