A leading company is seeking a Landscape Coordinator to oversee the technical coordination and submission of landscape works. The candidate will be responsible for site supervision, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, and managing subcontractor activities. Ideal candidates will possess a relevant degree and experience in landscape coordination, with strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
Landscape Technical Coordination & Submission:
Prepare and coordinate softscape and hardscape shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
Liaise with consultants for approval of landscape-related submissions.
Raise and respond to RFI related to landscape design, materials, or construction issues.
Site Supervision & Inspection:
Conduct regular site walks to inspect landscape work progress and quality.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Coordinate with consultants and authorities for site inspections and work clearances.
Subcontractor Management:
Coordinate daily and weekly work schedules with landscape subcontractors.
Monitor progress, manpower, and workmanship of landscape installation.
Ensure timely execution of landscape works according to master work program.
Work closely with architectural, ID, M&E, and structural teams to resolve clashes and ensure smooth trade integration.
Highlight potential conflicts and propose resolutions during coordination meetings.
Planning & Reporting:
Assist in work planning, sequencing, and tracking progress of landscape activities.
Keep accurate records of site activities, revisions, and inspection results.
Prepare updates for management and consultant meetings as required.
General Support:
Support the main contractor team in landscape handover process and final inspection works.
Ensure site is maintained in clean and safe condition during and after installation.
Support Architecture ID team on other scopes when needed.
To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the quality system.
To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the immediate Superior.
To ensure the Integrated Management Systems and Anti-Bribery System procedures are implemented.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or equivalent
3 to 5 years of relevant site experience in landscape coordination, softscape/hardscape implementation
Good understanding of landscape construction methods, detailing, materials, and specifications
Proficient in interpreting landscape drawings, specifications, and authority requirements
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders (consultants, subcontractors, suppliers)
Able to work independently on site and take ownership of assigned tasks
