Job Description

  1. Perform basic laboratory tests according to approved test methods or procedures.
  2. Assist Microbiologists in conducting laboratory tests, method development, and ensuring compliance with QA/QC requirements.
  3. Maintain Good Housekeeping and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards in the laboratory.
  4. Ensure proper use and maintenance of sample preparation equipment.
  5. Accurately record all relevant raw data or test information in the designated raw data sheets or manual logbooks.
  6. Report any hazards, risks, near-misses, or incidents in the Crystal system.
  7. Ensure all Operational Integrity Management System (OIMS) requirements are met.
  8. Adhere to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies by practicing good safety behaviors and following necessary standards and procedures to ensure compliance at all times.
  9. Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor or senior management.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Science or related field.
  • Fresh graduates in Microbiology or related studies are encouraged to apply; opportunities for further development as a Microbiologist are available.
  • 1-3 years of laboratory experience in related activities is preferred.
  • Good personality and team player qualities.

Additional Information

  • This position does not require travel.
  • Shift work is required.
  • Occasional weekend work may be required, with schedule rotation on a monthly basis.
