Job Responsibility
Assist The Companyâs Chemist In The Following Tasks
- Conduct all necessary tests for the incoming receipt of raw materials, chemicals, packaging, production quality control, finished products, and shipment quality control. This applies to all products produced by the Company.
- Ensure strict adherence to established test methods for all analyses.
- Stay updated on the latest testing methods and requirements relevant to the Companyâs products and services.
- Proactively inform the Chemist if the quality of raw materials, chemicals, or finished products is compromised.
- Maintain an inventory of all samples by properly labeling them and clearly recording all sample details, test procedures, observations, and results in the designated record books.
- Strictly follow the Companyâs working procedures in compliance with the Quality Management System (ISO 9001), GMP, and FSSC regulations.
- Assist the Chemist with laboratory management, including chemical inventory control, equipment calibration, waste handling, housekeeping, proper filing, and record keeping.
- Represent the Company in overseeing quantity and quality surveying activities conducted by independent testing and surveyor companies.
- Troubleshoot and discuss technical issues with supervisors and Chemists when necessary.
- Assist in research experiments as needed under the direction of the Chemist in charge.
- Assist the IETS Operator with the daily maintenance and housekeeping of the Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS), ensuring tested quality complies with applicable regulations.
- Perform any other duties as required by the department or Company management to achieve the Companyâs mission and objectives.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Chemical Technology, Food Technology, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Minimum speak English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts
- Have experienced in handling HPLC, ICP and GC is an added advantage
