Pertama Ferroalloys Sdn. Bhd. is the first large-scale manganese alloys and ferrosilicon plant in Malaysia, established by global ferroalloy production leaders to produce and supply manganese alloy products for the steel industry worldwide.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Laboratory Manager located in Samalaju Bintulu. The Laboratory Manager will be responsible for overseeing laboratory safety, managing laboratory skills, maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring quality control, and managing operations within the laboratory.

Qualifications

  • Laboratory Safety and Operations Management skills
  • Proficiency in Laboratory Skills and Equipment maintenance
  • Experience in Quality Control processes
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance in laboratory settings
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
  • Experience in a similar role in the ferroalloy or steel industry is a plus
