Established in 1961, Malayan Flour Mills Berhad (MFM) is the pioneer in the flour milling industry in Malaysia. Job Description

1. Perform routine laboratory tests on milling, batching, packing samples, and raw materials according to SOP, ensuring timely and accurate results.
2. Report any quality defects or arising issues to the supervisor for further action.
3. Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for product quality defects and update NCR records accordingly.
4. Conduct additional testing related to competitor’s flour analysis, flour streaming studies, complaints, and R&D evaluations as assigned.
5. Accurately record and file test results, graphs, and other documents with no errors.
6. Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures and regulatory requirements such as HACCP, FSSC 22000, HALAL, and Good Laboratory Practice.
7. Serve as a backup to change formulas in IFIX after normal shifts, during weekends, and on public holidays as instructed.
8. Support and comply with FSSC 22000 requirements and actively participate in related activities.
9. Perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by management.

Qualifications

1. Certificate/Diploma in Food Technology or any Science-related field.
2. Minimum 1 year of working experience in a Laboratory.
3. Positive work attitude.
4. This position is based in Pasir Gudang, Johor.
