Job summary

WD is seeking a diligent Laboratory Analyst to operate analytical equipment, analyze samples, report findings to stakeholders, and maintain instruments in a high‑throughput setting in Penang. The role requires a Diploma in Sciences, Engineering or related fields, meticulous data recording, and the ability to follow established procedures with minimal supervision.

Experience with lab systems and Excel is a plus.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Diploma in Sciences, Engineering or relevant fields.
• PREFERRED: Attention to detail and accuracy in test results, time management, ability to work independently, good communication, team spirit, willingness to learn, basic computer literacy, ability to input/manage data.

Responsibilities

• Operate analytical equipment according to established protocols.
• Perform comprehensive analysis of samples.
• Report analytical results and findings to stakeholders.
• Conduct routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Prepare samples for analysis using appropriate techniques.
• Record and analyze test results with accuracy.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and housekeeping.
