Job summary

A leading company in the oleochemical industry is seeking a Laboratory Technician to conduct quality inspections and analyses. The ideal candidate should have a relevant science qualification and at least 2 years of lab experience. Opportunities for fresh graduates are available. The role requires independent work and knowledge of relevant standards.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience in Lab operations related to similar field.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
• Must possess own transport.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-coming quality inspection of raw material and packaging material.
• Conduct daily routine analysis according to standard test methods.
• Ensure cleanliness of the laboratory is maintained.

• Perform in-coming quality inspection of raw material, packaging material and process chemicals
• Perform daily routine analysis according to standard test method
• Perform internal calibration of laboratory equipment according to specified frequency
• Perform non-routine and product stability test according to schedule
• Perform daily housekeeping and ensure cleanliness of the laboratory is well maintained

REQUIREMENT :

• Cert, diploma or degree in Chemistry, Food Technology, or relevant science discipline with experience in manufacturing processes
• At least 2 years experience in Lab operations which related to similar field
• Preferable to having knowledge of 5S, ISO 9001 and ISO 17025
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and meet deadlines
• Able to work in shift
• Must possess own transport
• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
