Job summary

Job description

Laboratory Technician
  • The administration of day-to-day routine and control of QA and Laboratory activities and Laboratory Programme.
  • To ensure Good Laboratory Practice is maintained at all times.
  • To report activities if QA or Lab procedures are not being adhered to.
Duties
  • To set up and perform laboratory & product validation exercises.
  • To establish and maintain calibration systems in an orderly manner.
  • To ensure laboratory results are carried out and recorded correctly for both routine checks and validation exercises.
  • To assist with staff training.
  • Maintenance of work instruction, quality records, test results, and calibration records.
  • Reporting of non-conformances.
  • To ensure non-conformances and audit corrective actions are closed out in a timely manner.
Education

High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience
  • Candidate must possess at least SPM in science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in Microbiology Laboratory Testing or other laboratory testing.
  • Knowledgeable in microbiology, cleanroom monitoring, contamination control, and aseptic technique.
  • Able to perform any other responsibilities as assigned by a superior.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Maintain good working condition and cleanliness of laboratory area.
  • Must be able to work shifts and overtime when required and willing to travel.
