Job summary

A leading global provider in healthcare solutions is seeking a Laboratory Technician to oversee QA activities and maintain laboratory quality standards. Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years of experience in laboratory testing, particularly in microbiology. This position involves responsibilities such as performing validation exercises, maintaining cleanroom standards, and ensuring adherence to safety procedures.

Laboratory Technician

• The administration of day to day routine and control of the QA and Laboratory activities and Laboratory Programme.
• To ensure Good Laboratory Practice is maintained all times.
• To report activities if QA or Lab procedures are not being adhered to.

Duties

To set up and perform laboratory & product validation exercises.

To establish and maintain calibration systems in an orderly manner.

To ensure laboratory results are carried out and recorded correctly for both routine checks andvalidation exercises.

To assist with staff training.

Maintenance of work instruction, quality records, test results and calibration records.

Reporting of non-conformances.

To ensure non-conformances and audit corrective actions are closed out in a timely manner.

Duties - cont'd Education Degree High School Diploma or GED Required Experience

Candidate must process at least SPM in science or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years working experience in Microbiology Laboratory Testing or other’s laboratory testing.

Knowledgeable in microbiology, cleanroom monitoring, contamination control and aseptic technique.

Able to perform any other responsibility as assigned by superior.

Maintain safe working environment and ensure health and safety procedure are follows all the times.

Maintain good working condition and cleanliness of laboratory area.

Must be able to work shift and overtime when required and willing to travel.
