Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities:

• Administer daily routine and control of QA and Laboratory activities and Laboratory Programme.
• Ensure Good Laboratory Practice is maintained at all times.
• Report activities if QA or Lab procedures are not being adhered to.

Duties:

• Set up and perform laboratory & product validation exercises.
• Establish and maintain calibration systems systematically.
• Ensure laboratory results are correctly carried out and recorded for routine checks and validation exercises.
• Assist with staff training.
• Maintain work instructions, quality records, test results, and calibration records.
• Report non-conformances.
• Ensure non-conformances and audit corrective actions are closed out promptly.

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience:

• Candidate must have at least SPM in science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Microbiology Laboratory Testing or similar.
• Knowledgeable in microbiology, cleanroom monitoring, contamination control, and aseptic technique.
• Able to perform additional responsibilities as assigned by superiors.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
• Keep the laboratory area clean and in good condition.
• Willing to work shifts, overtime, and travel as required.
