LUZI (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd specializes in the development and manufacturing of fragrance compounds for perfumes, cosmetics, home, and room fragrances. The company operates internationally with its headquarters in Switzerland since 1926.

We are seeking Lab Sampling Technician who are highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team in Johor, Malaysia. As a Lab Sampling Technician, you will be responsible for producing, blending, and packaging fragrance compounds.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform daily lab activities including weighing, flavor compounding, packing, bottling, and Contexa System operation.
2. Prepare samples of varying sizes as requested by customers, ensuring quality and accuracy.
3. Assist in investigations of process and quality deviations.
4. Adhere strictly to Environment, Health, Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practice standards and quality requirements.
5. Follow SOPs/WIs and regulatory requirements (DOSH, DOE) for handling and disposal of materials.
6. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to Halal, GMP, ISO, Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards.
7. Ensure activities are done right the first time to minimize rework and waste.
8. Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure a clean, tidy workplace.
9. Ensure all products meet specifications and quality standards.
10. Participate in daily lab and production briefings.
11. Perform ad-hoc activities such as cycle counts, raw material transfers, and Abacus System work as assigned.
12. Collaborate with the team to identify and implement improvements for productivity, efficiency, and quality.

Qualifications

• Basic Chemistry knowledge.
• Fluent in spoken English.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience in food, cosmetic, chemical, or pharma industries.
• Experience operating and maintaining production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
