Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Lab Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for managing laboratory systems and compliance activities, ensuring certification readiness, and supporting the performance and development of the lab team.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality System & Certification:

  • Implement and maintain quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, QC080000).
  • Coordinate and support external, internal, and client audits, including follow-ups and corrective actions.
  • Prepare, compile, and update controlled documents and procedures.
  • Track and report departmental KPIs to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Handle UL certification applications, sample preparations, and audits.
  • Prepare and upload IMDS and CAMDS data for compliance.

Laboratory & People Management:

  • Oversee daily lab personnel management and task allocation.
  • Conduct training for subordinates and support technical skill development.
  • Manage performance appraisal processes.
  • Handle abnormality confirmation and corrective actions.

Technical & Statistical Tasks:

  • Conduct CPK studies and analysis.
  • Apply TWI (Training Within Industry) principles.
  • Use statistical methods for quality control and analysis.
  • Perform chemical analysis as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Min 2-3 years experience in quality systems and certifications (ISO, IATF, QC080000).
