Job summary
A leading manufacturing company in Klang City is seeking a Quality Control Technician to conduct laboratory testing and ensure product quality. Candidates should have a diploma in Chemistry and at least 3–5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in an ISO-certified company. The role involves maintaining lab equipment, performing quality checks, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities
- Conduct QC functions including instrumental analysis and laboratory testing.
- Prepare samples in accordance with customer requirements.
- Assist in product formulation by conducting tests and interpreting data results.
- Ensure proper functioning and cleanliness of all lab instruments and equipment.
- Perform regular stock checks and maintain inventory records.
- Support the supervisor in other duties as assigned.
- Perform daily quality checks on finished products.
- Conduct routine and random inspections on incoming and new raw materials to ensure production suitability.
- Ensure proper use, handling, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the lab at all times.
- Handle and store laboratory chemicals safely in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Ensure all test records are legible, accurate, and properly stored and maintained as per procedure.
- Eliminate potential errors to ensure accuracy in all analytical tests.
- Periodically review testing and analytical methods to maintain high result accuracy.
- Assist in reviewing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate and document preventive maintenance, QA/QC checks, and calibration of lab equipment.
- Immediately report deviations or abnormalities in test results to supervisors for corrective action.
- Proactively communicate with supervisors on issues and suggest improvements.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.

- Computer literate and proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
