Job summary

Hirehub Group is seeking a Laboratory Analyst in Senai, Johor to perform routine chemical, physical, and metallurgical testing across plating, anodizing, and cleaning processes. You will ensure compliance with specifications and support process stability.

You will operate pH, conductivity, XRF, and spectrophotometric instruments, collect samples, maintain records, and collaborate with Quality Engineers on corrective actions while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant science or engineering field.
• 1–3 years laboratory experience preferred.
• Experience in surface treatment manufacturing / precision engineering industry is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with relevant laboratory internship experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory analysis of plating solutions and cleaners.
• Conduct pH, conductivity, titration, and metal concentration testing.
• Monitor process parameters for plating and anodizing processes.
• Support coating thickness, surface finish, and adhesion testing.
• Collect samples, label, store, and maintain traceability; record data.
• Operate pH meter, conductivity meter, balance, spectrophotometer, XRF, and salt spray equipment.
• Maintain lab records, calibration, and chemical inventory.
• Support QA and Laboratory Engineers with testing and investigations.
• Adhere to safety, PPE, SDS, and waste disposal procedures.
• Participate in 5S, lean, and process improvement initiatives.
