United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks a KYC Analyst to perform Know Your Customer reviews and ensure AML/CFT compliance after collecting required documents from corporate clients.

You will advise BU/RM on CDD requirements, support escalations, perform QA checks, and help close OGR timelines while archiving KYC files in EWF. This is a hybrid, full-time role posted today with an end date of Sept 27, 2026. Experience in AML/CFT and SOW adherence is essential.

  • Perform KYC to ensure AML/CFT compliance after obtaining required documents.
  • Contact and follow up with corporate clients to obtain required documents.
  • Advise BU/RM on KYC/CDD requirements and information to collect.
  • Review and QA KYC/CDD and ongoing reviews.
  • Ensure OGR is completed within timeline with no overdue reviews.
  • Ensure NTB/ETB KYC within deadlines and accurate risk assessment.
  • Obtain approvals for any exceptions per guidelines.
  • Produce monthly reporting for CFS, Compliance, GCIF as required.
  • Update NRD and archive KYC documents into EWF system.
  • Assist with projects/remediation as assigned.

As One Bank, we are committed to helping our colleagues build sustainable careers grounded in purpose, supported by strong values, and enriched with meaningful opportunities to grow. **Job Description**Perform KYC to ensure completeness and in compliance UOBM’s AML/CFT require‐ment upon obtaining required documents from customers.Contact and follow up with corporate clients to obtain required documents as and when necessary.Provide advisory to BU/RM in completing their Know Your Customer / Customer Due Diligence and on information to obtain from customers to ascertain if an activity, e.g. wire payment, is suspicious.Assist in the escalation of Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Countering of Terrorist Funding (CFT) and Sanctions related issues to Country Compliance.Review and perform quality assurance checks on Know Your Customer / Customer Due Diligence and on-going reviews completed by BU/RM.To ensure Scheduled Ongoing Review (OGR) is completed within timeline and ensur‐ing that there are no overdue in review.To ensure CDD KYC for New-To-Bank (NTB) and Existing-To-Bank (ETB) customers is completed within tight deadline with accurate assessment.To ensure appropriate approvals are to be obtained for any exceptions or deferment as stipulated in UOBM’s AML/CFT guidelines.To perform monthly reporting as and when required by Group Client Fulfi llment & Services (CFS), Group/Country Compliance and/or any other parties.Upon KYC completion, request to be sent to GCIF team to update Next Review Date (NRD), risk rating & archiving of all related KYC documents into EWF system.Assist on others tasks such as project and remediation as assigned by Head of CFS-AML/CFT where required.## **Additional Requirements**Be a Part of the UOB FamilyUOB is an equal opportunity employer.
