Job summary

LSEG Penang is seeking a Senior Research Analyst to conduct due diligence searches, draft research reports and handle client inquiries. You will work closely with the team to assess reputational, financial and integrity risks across languages, including English and Korean.

This blended role offers three days in the office and two days remote, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and collaborate with global teams on complex client requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Strong English; Korean language ability is a plus.
• Experience in due diligence, AML/KYC or third-party risk is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct media and Internet searches on companies and individuals in English and a secondary language.
• Search official sources for information gathering.
• Coordinate with vendors and provide feedback to improve quality.
• Analyze information for reputational, financial and integrity risks (sanctions, bribery, etc.).
• Assist in training and mentoring new hires in research work.
• Collaborate with team across RDD to ensure reports meet client requirements.
• Act as point of contact for subject matter expertise.
