Job description

Prepare and assemble Kitting material kits according to production work orders, ensuring completeness and accuracy of components.

Assist production lines with timely material issuance and returns to ensure smooth production flow.

Verify materials against Bill of Materials (BOM) and Kitting kits, promptly handling shortages or discrepancies.

Assist in training team members to ensure standardized Kitting operations.

Support accurate data entry and updates for Kitting materials in ERP/WMS systems.

Responsibilities and Authorities

• A. Kitting Material Preparation & Assembly Responsibilities
  • Prepare materials according to production work orders and BOM, completing Kitting kits accurately.
  • Verify quantity and specifications of materials, perform labeling and packaging as required.
  • Record Kitting data, including shortages, discrepancies, and completion status.
  • Assist production teams in material issuance, handling returns or replenishment as needed.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance Kitting efficiency and accuracy.
• B. Data & System Responsibilities
  • Enter Kitting-related material data into ERP/WMS systems accurately and timely.
  • Assist in tracking Kitting material usage and inventory status.
  • Generate Kitting reports to support production planning and material management analysis.
• C. General Responsibilities
  • Follow company policies, safety standards, and SOPs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the Kitting area.
  • Be willing to work overtime or shifts as required.
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.
  • Follow all company-provided management and safety training.

Job Requirements

• Education
  • SPM and above. (Material management knowledge).
• Work Experience
  • At least 3 years of Kitting or production material preparation experience.
  • Familiarity with work order operations and material handling processes is preferred.
• Skills
  • Knowledge of Kitting processes and BOM verification procedures.
  • Ability to handle material shortages, returns, and discrepancies.
  • Proficient in ERP/WMS systems for material recording and tracking.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Preferred / Additional Skills
  • Experience in EMS or electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Process improvement or data analysis experience.
  • Good command of English and/or Chinese for reading system manuals and production documentation.
