About the role

THE BREW HOUSE is seeking a skilled and dedicated Kitchen Crew to join our team in our non-halal restaurant in Penang. As a Kitchen Crew, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchen, preparing and cooking a variety of delicious dishes for our customers.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Head Chef and other kitchen staff in the preparation and cooking of menu items

Ensure that all food preparation and cooking is carried out to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety

Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, including regular cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work surfaces

Assist in the receipt, storage and inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients

Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless dining experience for our customers

Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Kitchen Crew or in a similar role in a restaurant or commercial kitchen setting

Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment and health and safety practices

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends
