• Responsibilities include:
• Planning and organizing individual and group activities to develop children's motor, social, and cooperative skills, confidence, and understanding;
• Promoting language development through storytelling, role play, songs, rhymes, and informal conversations;
• Leading children in activities that foster creative expression through art, dramatic play, music, and physical fitness;
• Observing children to evaluate progress and detect developmental, emotional, or health-related issues;
• Assessing nutritional health, welfare, and safety needs and identifying factors that may impede progress;
• Supervising activities to ensure safety and resolve conflicts;
• Guiding children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toileting habits;
• Discussing children's progress or issues with parents and staff, and referring to other services as needed;
• Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with other service providers working with young children.
