Key Client Sales Executive/Senior Executive - Southern Region

The Key Account Executive plays a vital role in exploring, identifying and developing new business opportunities and prospects through strong B2B business and influencer partnerships. This is achieved in partnerships with Architects, Interior Designers and Contractors.

We are looking for a passionate individual who’s able to manage customer relationships, as well as preservation and expansion of our customer base by understanding their individual needs and recommend products that maximize value. Suitable training and guidance on the sales approach and methodology will be provided.

Job Description

Key Account Management

  • Build relationships with industry players and expand business network to support partnership strategies.
  • Develop new business venture proposals based on an evaluation of market demand and strategic fit.
  • Leverage business network and facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare comprehensive supporting materials, such as sample charts, catalogues, company profile, projects references, and technical specifications to support in closing deals with clients.
  • Create insightful account analysis based on account’s performances.
  • Use Sales Funnel methodology to track customer journey, sales pipeline, and drive sales results.
  • Identify new business opportunities with house owners, architects, interior designers, and contractors to drive sales.
  • Closely follow up on prospects to create sales opportunities and increase conversion rate.
  • Drive service quality and customer satisfaction for continuous improvement.
  • Achieve sales target and net income target, analyzing variance and initiating corrective actions.
  • Communicate scheduled sales reports in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Perform regular sales analysis & reviews to evaluate promotion and sales strategy effectiveness and to identify business opportunities.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree holder in any field of studies.
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of Business Development/Sales/Marketing experience in relation to key account sales via B2B sales channel.
  • Prior experience dealing with Building Materials or Property Development & Trade will be an added advantage.
  • Experience with using CRM analytical digital applications.
  • Candidate must be able to converse reasonably well in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • We are looking for someone who is also fluent in Mandarin as the role requires the candidate to deal with clients who speak this dialect.
  • Sales driven and independent in a fast-paced environment.
  • Great interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills to all levels of customers.
  • Role is based in Tebrau, Johor Bahru, covering the Southern Region area.
