Summary
In this role, you will report to the Key Account Manager and serve as a key liaison between customers, the sales team, and various cross-functional departments on operational matters. You will be responsible for providing accurate and timely support to both the Key Account Manager and Department Head across a portfolio of customers. This position is based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

We are looking for someone with good interpersonal and communication skills with good analytical mindset.

Your main responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Provide support to Key Account Manager in implementing regional strategy and cooperate with all departments to ensure optimal customer service and meet the assigned KPIs, to help grow the sales and profitability of assigned Key Accounts
  • Follow up promptly on new business deal, contract fulfilment, forecast and budget.
  • Conduct analysis and generate business reports as and when required.
  • Assist with processing tender, price quotes and rate negotiations to assigned Key Accounts
  • Promote group services such as VAS, X- sell activities to assigned Global Accounts
  • Actively participate in team discussion and contribute suggestion for improvement – process improvement, timeline, operation, turnaround time
  • Contribute to dispute resolution with trade management team and back-offices.
  • Handle off tender request such as quotation to review and liaise with respective trades.


To perform well in this role, you should possess good problem-solving mindset with ability to adhere to tight schedules and high degree of initiative and adaptability working in fast paced environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least Diploma from a recognized education institution
  • 1 – 2 years of related field experience in shipping or logistic industry
  • Advance proficiency with MS office suite i.e. powerpoint and excel, particularly with vlookup and pivot table
  • Ability to travel when required
