Job description

The position plays a vital role in ensuring the successful management and growth of key accounts. Talents is required to understand their needs, provide exceptional service, and help develop strategic business plans that align with the company's objectives.

  • Leading a team of Sales to promote and market products to key customers and corporate customers.
  • Responsible for maintaining and expanding company relationships with existing key customers and corporate customers and solicit new business with prospective clients.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to support the growth of the company.
  • Perform analysis on competitors, market trends, and feasibility studies.
  • Responsible for realizing the committed sales target.
  • Analyze market needs, develop account strategies, and convey to chief responsible personnel.
  • Propose new products to clients using entire data sources to prepare and conduct optimum presentations.
  • Responsible for managing a set of strategic regional and national customers efficiently by delivering a profitable volume through superior customer service.
  • To manage customer needs through corporate to corporate basis for chain outlets.
  • Responsible for managing account/outlet operations and executing excellence with proper detailed planning within budget/resources given.
  • Work with Brand/Channel/Pricing/Market Research team to strategize promotion plans for key customers.
  • To conduct market visits/route rides for marketplace opportunities.
  • Increase account revenue and identify fresh business opportunities adhering to the given budget structure.
  • Maintain client relations to build an excellent reputation for service and produce repeat business.
  • Develop relations between the company and client following details to ensure quick response to identified problems.

Academic or Trade Qualifications

Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, or equivalent.

Work Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Strong understanding of FMCG market dynamics and consumer behavior would be a plus point.
  • Modern Trade experience is a MUST.
  • Required language(s): Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • The ability to interact successfully across cultures.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines & allocated monthly sales target.
  • You are required to have a valid B License & possess own transport.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Possess good time management skills, prioritization skills, multi-tasking, working independently, and as a self-starter.
