Description and Requirements

This role is responsible for overseeing the retention and acquisition of named Corporate accounts in the Central Asia Region, designing and executing growth strategies to sell Lenovo’s products, services and solutions from Infrastructure Solution Group (ISG) and Services & Solution Group (SSG) across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Taiwan markets. The candidate will work with in-country Enterprise Sales Teams to execute initiatives and deliver financial targets set.

The candidate will be required to leverage the expertise of extended team stakeholders from Finance, Marketing, Product Management, Supply & Demand Planning, Fulfillment, HR, IT & BT, Sales Operation, CX, Learning & Development etc., to be successful. This is a Business Owner/Leader role, not just a Sales role.

The position reports directly to the ISG Country General Manager and will be based in Malaysia.

Key Responsibility Areas:
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual financial targets and business initiatives.
  • Be responsible and accountable for designing annual and multi‑year strategic initiatives to grow the business.
  • Collaborate with the in‑country Enterprise Sales force to execute the strategic initiatives designed.
  • Build professional working relationships with key decision makers in select client organizations, from C‑suite to procurement, to maintain a high level of brand loyalty to Lenovo and build trust and integrity between Lenovo and select clients.
  • Leverage Lenovo Executive Sponsors and resources to strengthen relationships and credibility with the client’s influencers and decision makers.
  • Constantly keep abreast of industry trends and apply Lenovo’s products & solutions to address them with the client.
  • Advocate and implement a consultative‑selling approach in all market sales teams to identify and advance opportunities.
  • Ensure all markets maintain an up‑to‑date RAD analysis on corporate accounts to plan attack and protect strategies.
  • Ensure Business Management Systems are in place to ensure account planning, account coverage planning, and opportunity pipeline management are well executed to deliver business results.
  • Lead and engage key business partners across the markets to evolve and grow together with Lenovo.
Position Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of sales or business supervisory experience and strategic customer engagement experience with C‑level executives, preferably covering product sets across Data Center Infrastructure and Services & Solutions requirements.
  • Quality and successful years of experience in a similar role with a major player in the market would be a plus.

  • Direct customer engagement experience with large enterprises, public and private education institutions, and government agencies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to manage multiple complex business engagements and deal with ambiguity.
