Step into a high-impact role with one of the leading oleochemical companies as an Account Manager – Lubricants (Asia Pacific)

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our sales team and play a key role in expanding our presence in the lubricant industry across Asia Pacific.

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales by managing and growing our customer base, strengthening relationships with existing clients while proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Your work will align with our broader business strategies and pricing frameworks to meet volume, revenue, and market share targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of customers, ranging from global strategic accounts to prominent local players in the lubricant industry.
  • Act as a key member of the global strategic account team, nurturing client relationships with major lubricant companies across Asia Pacific.
  • Execute global business strategies tailored to the lubricant sector in the region.
  • Grow the lubricant segment by expanding business with existing clients and actively prospecting new ones.
  • Conduct regular client visits and manage associated reporting, contract negotiation, and follow-up activities.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Supply Chain, Purchasing) to ensure customer needs and internal expectations are met.
  • Consistently meet financial targets and non-financial KPIs.

Qualifications:

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales and marketing experience in industrial markets across Asia—preferably within chemical manufacturing, personal care, polymer additives, coatings, or industrial fluids.
  • Proven B2B sales experience, particularly in the lubricants market or in managing products such as esters, fatty acids, di-acids, and modified oils.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proactive approach to closing deals, developing long-term partnerships, and managing strategic accounts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across diverse cultures and organizational levels.
  • Self-motivated, business-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player committed to meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% within the Asia region.
