Job summary

Job description

The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing and growing our most important client relationships. This role involves understanding the client's business needs, developing strategic plans to meet those needs, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. The KAM will act as the main point of contact for key accounts, facilitating communication and coordination between clients and internal teams.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Act as the main point of contact, addressing client needs promptly.
  • Conduct regular meetings to assess business needs and satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and drive growth.
  • Collaborate with sales & marketing on tailored strategies.
  • Present new products/services to enhance client business.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet revenue targets.
  • Monitor account performance and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Ensure timely and successful solution delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts to maximize profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Manage contract renewals to maintain strong relationships.
  • Provide insights on account performance and improvement areas.
WE WANT SOMEONE WHO:

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred). Certifications in account management/sales are a plus.
  • Experience: 2-5 years in account management or sales, preferably in financial services/trading. Must have experience with international clients & markets.
  • Skills: Fluency in English & Japanese (Must Have) , strong communication & relationship-building abilities, expertise in negotiation & strategic planning, ability to multitask & meet deadlines, proficiency in CRM tools & Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of financial services, trading & investment, market trends, competitors & regulatory requirements.
  • Other: Willingness to travel for client meetings & industry events, high professionalism & ethical standards, strong analytical skills & attention to detail.
