Key Account Executive (FMCG or Toys Industry)

Big Cart Malaysia is a growing leader in the Toys industry, known for our strong distributing brands, product innovation, and trusted partnerships. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a highly motivated Key Account Executive to drive growth by managing existing relationships and developing new business opportunities in strategic channels. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship-building skills, a strategic sales mindset, and a passion for driving brand presence and sales performance across modern trade, general trade, and/or specialty retail channels. You will play a vital role in achieving revenue targets, executing go-to-market plans, and supporting the company’s overall growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing key retail and distribution partners to maximize performance.

New Business Development: Identify, approach, and secure new business accounts to expand the company’s market reach and revenue base.

Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales plans that align with company targets and deliver measurable results.

Promotion & Launch Support: Collaborate with marketing and trade marketing teams on promotional strategies, merchandising execution, and product launches.

Performance Analysis: Track and analyze account performance, prepare sales forecasts, and report on KPIs.

Contract Negotiation: Lead discussions on pricing, terms, and agreements to ensure sustainable, profitable partnerships.

Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and refine strategy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

2–4 years’ experience in a key account or business development role, preferably within the FMCG or Toy industry.

Strong track record of building and growing client relationships.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Willingness to travel as needed.
