Job Purpose
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Key Account Executive to drive the growth and performance of our key retail partners. This role is crucial in strengthening our presence in the market through strategic customer management, effective trade execution, and collaborative partnership building.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Sales Targets: Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and profit targets in line with company objectives.
- Account Ownership: Manage the end-to-end business operations of assigned key accounts and retail outlets, including sales forecasting, performance tracking, and issue resolution.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement account plans that align with brand and business strategies to grow share of shelf, market presence, and revenue.
- Team Leadership: Lead, guide, and motivate a team of merchandisers or consumer advisors to ensure effective in-store execution, visibility, and brand representation.
- Promotion Management: Plan, coordinate, and evaluate trade promotions, ensuring ROI and alignment with account needs and consumer behavior.
- Negotiation & Collaboration: Build strong customer relationships through negotiation of trading terms and collaboration on joint business plans and in-store initiatives.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and channel developments to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely reports on sales performance, stock levels, and promotional effectiveness to inform decision-making.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in the FMCG industry managing retail/general trade accounts.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market insights into actionable plans.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with sales reporting tools is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- A strong team player with a passion for excellence and customer success.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and own transportation.
