Key Account Executive

About the opportunity

We are looking for a Key Account Executive based in Malacca. The department is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, promoting existing activities, and ensuring fast, sustainable growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and expand relationships with existing restaurants and proactively identify new business opportunities.
• Monitor accounts and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Develop strategic marketing plans to ensure consistent growth for the client’s business.
• Monitor performance metrics of each account and ensure compliance with foodpanda’s operational standards.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the foodpanda business model and the online food ordering market.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other departments & stakeholders, providing feedback and identifying industry trends.
• Serve as the main point of contact for client concerns & needs.
• Work with internal support functions to ensure deals meet quality standards.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
• Facilitate client need fulfillment across departments.

What you need to be successful

• 2-3 years’ experience in a client management role (preferred).
• Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in F&B, media, advertising, FMCG, or e-commerce.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze large data sets.
• Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
• Multilingual abilities are an advantage.
