Job summary

Al-Ikhsan Sports Sdn Bhd is hiring a Junior Visual Merchandiser in Malaysia to support planning, execution, and maintenance of visual merchandising standards across retail stores. You will help create attractive product displays, ensure brand consistency, and assist marketing campaigns to boost customer experience and sales.

The role requires a diploma/degree in fashion, interior design, or related fields and 1–2 years in retail/visual merchandising.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Fashion, Interior Design, Fine Arts, Retail Merchandising, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in retail or visual merchandising (fresh graduates and interns are encouraged to apply).
• A strong eye for colour, composition, layout, and current fashion/retail trends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing visual merchandising displays according to brand guidelines and seasonal campaigns.
• Arrange products, mannequins, fixtures, and promotional materials to create an attractive store presentation.
• Ensure all stores maintain proper visual standards and brand image.
• Conduct store visits and provide feedback on display improvement.
• Support the setup of promotional campaigns, new product launches, and store events.
• Prepare and install promotional materials such as posters, banners, POP materials, and signage.
• Assist in new store opening preparation including layout setup, product arrangement, and visual installation.
• Support store renovation, relocation, and seasonal refresh projects.
• Assist in creating simple artwork, posters, and visual materials using design software (Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator).
• Prepare visual merchandising reports, store visit reports, and campaign execution reports.

The role focuses on creating attractive product displays, ensuring brand consistency, and supporting marketing campaigns to enhance customer shopping experience and drive sales.

Key responsibilities

Assist in executing visual merchandising displays according to brand guidelines and seasonal campaigns.

Conduct store visits and provide feedback on display improvement.

About you

Diploma/Degree in Fashion, Interior Design, Fine Arts, Retail Merchandising, or a related field.

1–2 years of experience in retail or visual merchandising (Fresh graduates and interns are encouraged to apply).

A strong eye for colour, composition, layout, and current fashion/retail trends.

Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late nights for major seasonal floor changes.

Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator.

Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about retail display.
