The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering and is eager to grow within a large electronics manufacturing environment in Ipoh, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and lead maintenance activities.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and root-cause analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead a team of engineers and technicians to ensure equipment is properly maintained.
• Drive to meet OEE goals for internal and customer-defined targets.
• Review and ensure sufficient spare parts availability (consigned or Carsem-owned).
• Organize, direct and supervise machine maintenance, restoration, diagnosis of issues, and preventive maintenance guidelines.
• Develop skills and proficiency among engineers/staff to enhance plant equipment performance.
• Train assistants to achieve organizational goals and business objectives.
• Ensure high productivity by managing maintenance staff performance.
• Provide recommendations, analyze data, and develop strategies for quantity and quality improvements.
• Identify problems, propose alternatives and actions, and implement solutions.
• Involve in training, succession planning, and career development.
