Job summary
ViQ Apparel Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to keep our sewing and apparel production machines running smoothly in Ipoh, Malaysia.
You will service industrial sewing machines, sublimation and heat press equipment, perform basic repairs, and respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime. Qualifications
- SPM/SKM/Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related field.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience with sewing or apparel machines is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with sublimation and printing machines is a plus.
- Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Hands-on, responsible and able to work independently.

Responsibilities
- Maintain, inspect and troubleshoot sewing machines and apparel production machines.
- Maintain industrial sewing machines, sublimation machines, heat press machines and other apparel-related equipment.
- Perform basic repairs, machine adjustments, servicing and preventive maintenance.
- Respond to machine breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
- Maintain basic records of maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure machines are safe and operating properly.
