Junior Team Member, Equity Capital Markets

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in executing the marketing efforts of ECM to secure mandates, including preparing pitchbooks.
2. Build and maintain a database of Equity Capital Market transactions and deal parameters.
3. Coordinate with internal departments to prepare internal papers and presentation materials.
4. Ensure all work complies with regulatory, legal, internal rules, and compliance standards.
5. Nurture relationships with clients and counterparts in other ECM houses.
6. Ensure the timely and efficient execution of mandates according to deadlines.
7. Protect the reputation and integrity of the department, the Investment Bank, and the Group.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree from a ranked university, preferably in economics, accounting, business administration, finance, engineering, or CFA Level 1.
2. Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in investment analysis or related fields.
3. In-depth knowledge of accounting and finance.
4. Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
5. Proficient in financial modeling and MS Office applications.
6. Interest in capital markets development, especially in Malaysia.
