Job Title: Junior Tax Associate

Salary Range: RM2800 - RM3000

Working Hours: 9am - 6pm (Monday - Friday)

Working Location: Puchong, Kuala Lumpur

Job Summary:

The tax associate is responsible for preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations for both direct and indirect taxes. The role also involves communicating tax strategies to key employees within the organization, serving as a vital part of the accounting department.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Handle estimation of tax payable and revision of tax estimates.
  2. Ensure timely submission of Form CP204 & CP204A.
  3. Track yearly and quarterly revenue and expenses for accurate tax return preparation.
  4. Follow up with clients to complete assignments and monitor relevant deadlines.
  5. Prepare and maintain accurate records and files.
  6. Maintain an up-to-date database of tax records.
  7. Liaise with clients and government authorities on tax matters.
  8. Assist with ad-hoc tax matters such as refunds, clearance, and audits.
  9. Discuss and update superiors on tax assignments.
Job Requirements:
  1. Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  2. Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
  3. Knowledge of Ibizz & Superior Tax software is advantageous.
  4. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
