Overview

We are looking for dedicated Junior Tax Assistants to join our growing tax division at Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur. With multiple vacancies available, this is a great opportunity for individuals with at least 1 year of tax-related experience to grow their career in a professional and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit tax computations and returns for corporate, individual, and employer tax
• Handle tax compliance matters in line with Malaysian tax laws and deadlines
• Liaise with clients to gather tax-related documents and clarify information
• Assist in handling correspondence with the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) on tax queries and audits
• Maintain proper records and filing of tax-related documents
• Ensure timely updates and submission of statutory tax requirements
• Support the tax team in day-to-day assignments and administrative tasks
• Stay updated on changes in Malaysian tax regulations and practices

What we’re looking for

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• At least 1 year of working experience in tax compliance or accounting-related work
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and the Malaysian tax framework
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and office applications (experience with Superior TaxComp software is an advantage)
• Responsible, proactive, and able to meet reporting deadlines
• Immediate availability is an added advantage
