Job summary

RHB Investment Banking seeks a proactive Junior Team Member, Strategic Advisory, to support senior bankers in executing M&A and advisory mandates in Malaysia. You will assist with financial modeling, due diligence, and the preparation of client presentations and transaction documents.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will work with cross-functional teams, ensure governance and risk controls, and contribute to strategic advisory initiatives while developing professionally within RHB Banking Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in investment banking or corporate finance is expected.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent planning and multi-project execution under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Execute M&A transactions, including due diligence, valuation, modeling, structuring, and deal documentation.
• Conduct market, industry, and company research to identify target opportunities.
• Prepare high-quality presentation decks, information memoranda, and strategic proposals.
• Ensure governance and risk management compliance for transactions.
• Collaborate with Group Wholesale Banking teams to identify cross-selling opportunities.
