Job summary

NETS is seeking a Junior Software Tester to develop system test cases and execute QA/SI testing. You will work with the Senior Tester to define objectives, strategies and test cases, ensuring quality before release.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering and at least 1 year of related experience in IT or financial services. Strong communication and basic SQL skills are desired. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or Engineering.
• At least 1 year of IT or financial industry testing experience.
• Experience with QA/testing processes and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update traceability matrix for test coverage.
• Create test cases from the test plan and ensure coverage.
• Execute tests and log all incidents accurately.
• Track and close issues identified during testing.
• Document, review and maintain all test deliverables and reports.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties during testing stages.
• Provide status updates on testing activities to the reporting manager.
• Define and enforce testing processes per company standards.
• Assist in project documentation and training materials.
