Job summary

Centific in Malaysia's Penang seeks a QA tester to join our AI data platform team. You will develop and execute test plans, verify system components, and contribute to both manual and automated testing efforts.

We value practical problem solving, clear English communication, and the ability to learn quickly. You will work with engineers to ensure code quality and reliable data pipelines in a fast-moving AI environment.

Qualifications

• Majoring in computer science or a related field.
• Ability to describe testing issues clearly in English.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to read and understand at least one programming language.

Responsibilities

• Development and execution of test plans, perform repeatable testing procedures and processes.
• Verification of triggers, stored procedures, referential integrity, product or system specifications.
• Interpretation and modification of code as required with at least one programming and / or one scripting language.
• System level configuration skills.
• Execute test cases manually and execute automated test cases.
• Update the steps of old test cases and the automation scripts of test cases, analyze the failures of automated test cases.
• Collection information to report and log bugs.
• Summary test results and report.
