Malaysia Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a proficient software engineer to analyze requirements, design, develop and deploy in-house business applications and integrations. You will implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with PDPA and ISMS.

The role covers full SDLC with CI/CD releases, production support, technical documentation and continuous improvement, on a 2-year fixed-term contract in Kuala Lumpur. Strong Java/.NET/Docker/GCP experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline. With a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer / Professional Cloud Developer, Microsoft developer certifications, Scrum Developer, secure software development) are considered an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining business applications across the full SDLC using Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL, including data modelling, stored procedures and query optimisation.
• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating applications with third-party systems.
• Experience with source control (Git) and CI/CD tools; exposure to cloud deployment and containerisation (Docker).
• Experience in mobile application development or low-code platforms is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Analyse business requirements and design, develop, test, deploy and enhance applications across the full SDLC.
• Deliver secure, maintainable and well-documented code and support production applications.
• Engage users to translate requirements into system specifications, data models and designs.
• Develop and maintain RESTful API integrations and data migrations.
• Apply secure coding practices and ensure compliance with PDPA and ISMS policies.
• Manage deployments via CI/CD pipelines across development, staging, and production.
