Job description

You will be responsible for core architecture, memory management, data storage, preventing system vulnerabilities, and other tasks necessary to build and deliver excellent applications and services used by Company employees and customers.

The ideal candidate is motivated, flexible, passionate about developing lightning-fast response systems, and ensuring our company and customers are safe from threats.

Job Responsibilities

1. Work closely with stakeholders, fellow engineers, designers, and software testers. Present and communicate your work across the organization and to other teams at Company.
2. Propose and implement overarching system architecture.
3. Design robust solutions to complex problems considering scale, security, reliability, and cost.
4. Create test data and environments to support testing activities.
5. Execute testing and validate actual results against expected results.
6. Verify results of quality assurance tests.
7. Prepare user references by writing operating instructions.
8. Document and share best practices with engineers across the Company.
9. Respond promptly and professionally to bug reports.

Requirements

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
2. Expertise in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, MySQL, NoSQL.
3. Strong knowledge of Yii Framework, MVC, jQuery, and responsive web development.
4. Practical experience developing websites, portals, and web-based applications using modern scripting languages and scalable solutions.
5. Knowledge of secure and standard coding practices.
6. Detail-oriented, positive thinker, self-motivated, disciplined, and able to complete tasks independently and timely.
7. Knowledge of Linux servers and mobile application development is an added advantage.
8. Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
