FSD Interior Consultant Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Five Star Design) is a well-established interior design and renovation firm with over 20 years of experience. We specialize in residential and commercial projects, delivering creative design solutions with reliable execution.

As we grow, we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our expanding team.

Position:

Ensure interior design project work running according to construction drawing and specification.

To coordinate interior design site work with Sub-Contractor and ensure project run smoothly.

Raise up material ordering, receiving material and follow up with supplier on schedule delivery.

To ensure all materials received as per DO and PO description.

Proper planning on material allocation when materials delivers to site in order to reduce wastage and double handling.

Check & follow up the defects work at site.

Keep update defects status to customer and internal management.

Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as maybe assigned by the superior or Company.

Ensure interior design project objective are achieved and projects are delivered successfully in accordance with agreed scope, timeframe, budget, quality and safety standards.

Good communication and negotiation skills and able handle sub-contractors effectively.

Meticulous, confident, highly analytical with excellent problem solving skills and strong leadership to lead a team of site personnel.

Having preview of the overall interior design project, providing direction, reviewing and monitoring outcomes of all functions to work together effectively and manage the project on-track.

Monitor overall reporting of work progress to the Management Implement policies, procedures, and instructions required by the Management.

Qualification:

Junior level: Fresh graduate/minimum 1 years of experience as a interior design Site Supervisor or related field.

Senior level: minimum 3 years of experience as a interior design Site Supervisor or related field.

Strong knowledge of minimum 1 years of experience as a interior design construction methods, materials, and building regulations.

Ability to lead, motivate and coordinate construction teams effectively.

Self motivated, positive, and ability to deliver results even when the going gets tough.

Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints and technical specifications.

Familiarity with interior design workplace health and safety regulations in the construction industry.

Proficient in spoken Mandarin, Malay, and English. We are seeking candidates proficient in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.

Willing to on call and work on weekends and holidays when required.
