Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Engineer who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about driving the future of EV charging. This role is central to the successful execution of our projects, from planning and design to commissioning and ongoing operations. You will be deeply involved in all technical and project aspects, working closely with both internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Execution Leadership:
    • Lead or assist in the end-to-end execution of EV charging station projects, including site surveys, feasibility studies, engineering design, budgeting, procurement, construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance
    • Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
    • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and vendors, ensuring high standards of quality and safety throughout the project lifecycle
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current EV charger technologies and industry standards.
    • Research and evaluate emerging trends and innovations in the EV charging industry
    • Provide technical support for installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of EV charging stations
  • Software Integration & Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with our software partner team to ensure seamless operation
    • Participate in software-related discussions, testing, and troubleshooting, providing technical input and feedback
    • Support the implementation and validation of new software features and updates
  • Quality, Risk, and Compliance:
    • Ensure all work meets regulatory, safety, and quality standards
    • Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Act as a central point of contact for technical and project-related matters, communicating effectively with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and partners
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
    • Work with the team to identify opportunities for new product development and process improvements
    • Stay informed about market trends, policy changes, and technological developments
  • Ethics and Integrity:
    • Uphold the highest ethical standards and ensure all business activities comply with company policies and regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • For Senior position: Minimum 3 years of experience in project management or engineering roles, specifically in EV infrastructure or related sectors
  • For Junior position: 0-2 years of relevant experience will be considered
  • Knowledge of EV charging technologies and infrastructure is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as necessary
