Job description

You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and special assignments to ensure that an organization complies with financial statement filing through a system of controls, to minimize audit risks, optimize reporting procedures, and drive the successful function of the audit department.

Responsibilities:
  1. Delivering a full range of audit services in compliance with relevant laws and regulations in a timely manner and ensuring all filing deadlines are met.
  2. Plan and direct financial audit engagements.
  3. Verifying client’s financial information.
  4. Support the audit team in its functions.
  5. Preparing audit reports and statements for review.
  6. Responsible for financial statements preparation and MBRS filing.
  7. Communicate and liaise with a broad range of audit clients.
  8. Building relationships and interacting with clients to provide excellent planning, expertise, and consulting services.
  9. Maintaining confidentiality on all clients’ information.
  10. Liaise with affiliates - secretaries, tax agents, and other related parties.
  11. Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
  1. Professional Degree or Degree/Diploma in Accountancy.
  2. At least 1 to 2 years of working experience in the related field and familiar with accounting standards and Malaysia statutory requirements; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  3. Able to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage.
  4. Familiarity with audit software will be an added advantage.
  5. Analytical thinker with good communication skills.
  6. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Continuous improvement mindset and pleasant personality, systematic, process-driven, and focused on the delivery of quality and timely work output.
  8. Able to work independently as well as a team player.
  9. Able to work under time-bound conditions.
