Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and outgoing Junior Sales & Marketing Executive to support the growth of our adventure and nature tourism business. This role is ideal for those who love to travel, interact with people, and promote unique nature-based experiences across Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

Support sales campaigns targeting B2C clients, including families, FITs (Free Independent Travelers), student groups, and young professionals.

Actively promote adventure and nature-based packages such as hiking tours, island getaways, eco-tourism, extreme sports, and local cultural trails.

Handle suppliers and vendor companies.

Assist in creating and updating product listings on platforms.

Support content updates (package descriptions, pricing, itineraries) to ensure accurate and appealing product presentation online.

Follow up with leads and inquiries to convert interest into bookings.

Maintain and update the client database.

Attend and assist at tourism events, travel fairs, roadshows, and promotional activities with senior staff.

Collect customer feedback post-travel and help monitor satisfaction or complaints for service improvement.

Assist in preparing simple sales performance analysis reports and competitor analysis.

Collaborate with the content or design team to suggest ideas for travel promotions, influencer tie-ins, or seasonal campaigns.

Build a basic understanding of customer travel preferences and trends to share with the product development team.

Support local community partnerships by identifying small vendors or guides in nature destinations.

Requirements:

No experience or 1-2 years in sales, marketing, or customer service in the tourism, travel, or hospitality industry.

Possess a minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism Management, Hospitality, or any related field.

A strong passion for adventure tourism, eco-travel, and exploring nature-based destinations across Malaysia.

Outgoing and pleasant personality with excellent interpersonal skills — enjoys meeting and engaging with new people.

Willing to travel frequently, including weekends or public holidays when needed for events, site visits, or tours.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision, yet also a good team player in a collaborative environment.

Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written); the ability to speak Mandarin, Tamil, Cantonese, Japanese, Thai, and or other foreign languages is a strong advantage.

Comfortable and willing to learn using digital platforms, basic CRM tools, social media, and online travel agent (OTA).

Good presentation, communication, and basic negotiation skills.

High level of initiative, adaptability, and customer-focused thinking.

A creative mindset in proposing promotional ideas or improving travel products.

Training will be provided, especially in tourism products, OTA systems, and sales processes.
