Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior/Executive Quantity Surveyor to support cost estimation, quantity take-off, contracts, and procurement for store development and renovations, ensuring accurate data and timely documentation. Responsibilities include take-off, BQ preparation for tenders, site measurements, budgeting, cost data maintenance, and coordinating with contractors and suppliers on site.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Quantity Surveying or related field, 1–3 years’

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or construction.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-off and measurement from drawings and BQ.
• Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BQ) for tenders and contracts.
• Conduct site measurements to verify work against drawings.
• Assist in preparing preliminary cost estimates and project budgets.
• Compile and maintain cost data, rates, and a price/cost library.
• Support monitoring of project expenditure against budgets and flag variances.
