Job summary

SALIRAN SEPAKAT SDN BHD seeks a Junior Quantity Surveyor to assist cost estimation, budget monitoring, procurement, and contract administration on site projects in Malaysia’s Johor region.

Fresh graduates or candidates with 0–2 years’ experience are encouraged to apply. A Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering is required. Basic costing knowledge and familiarity with AutoCount are advantages, with opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Fresh graduates or candidates with 0–2 years experience are encouraged to apply.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of construction/project costing; AutoCount or similar system is an advantage.
• Skills: Good analytical, communication, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cost Estimation – Support in preparing cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Budget Monitoring – Help track project expenses and verify invoices under supervision.
• Procurement Support – Assist in sourcing materials and preparing purchase orders.
• Contract Administration – Prepare tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and assist with variation orders.
• Project Documentation – Maintain records, progress claims, and reporting for management.
• Learning & Development – Work closely with senior QS to gain industry knowledge and technical skills.
